Day 2 (New Years Eve)

We visited Prague Zoo which was really impressive and very cheap to get into. Well worth a visit! The highlight for me was the kangaroos since I'd never seen one before.

In the evening we ate in a nice restaurant in the old town which I think was called Staromácek. This was with the people James' dad worked with.

For the new year celebrations we headed to the Old Town Square where people all around us were setting off fireworks in the street and from windows. Restaurants and bars seemed to be competing with one another. It was very different and much more exciting than the organised displays you'd find in Britain.
